Grant Guidelines

1:Trustees prefer applications from small groups, organisations, and self-help projects that only benefit Birmingham's residents.

2:Applicants are ineligible to proceed with their current application if they have been successfully awarded a grant from the Lord Mayor of Birmingham's charity within the past three years.

3:Trustees prefer to support small groups, organisations, and self-help projects that do not have paid fundraisers.

4:Trustees limit the support of capital projects and will only occasionally support salary costs.

5:Trustees prefer to support specific projects rather than general appeals.

6:You must have a bank account in the name of the organisation or group.

7:You must include a copy of your latest accounts and report with your application form.

8:If any of the details on your application form change, you must tell the trustees.

9:By submitting an application, you agree to include The Lord Mayor of Birmingham's Charity in your marketing and promotional materials.

10:By submitting an application, you agree to being profiled by the Charity in their marketing and promotional materials.

11:All questions on the application form must be fully answered.
